Pours an effervescent chestnut with one finger+ of sand colored head. Average head retention
S: Brown bread, some roastyyness late, molasses very late
T: Brown bread, slight roastyness, a touch of molasses & dryness up front. More roastyness, but also a little too much molasses sweetness for the style, some woody hops as this beer warms up, a trace of anise & just a little coffee. Brown bread & roastyness in the finish, more sweetness & some woody hops
MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, skews a little sweet
Not a bad, wanted a little more breadyness & less sweetness, drifted of style a bit too much for me for great marks
