2020 vintage, bottle 376 of 720
Pours a fizzy small tan head with med-lower retention, fair lacing, decent legs, jet black color
Nose has some roast, dark chocolate, baking spices with a little anise, some cookie dough and nougat, dark chocolate and some chocolate ganache, a bit of sweet fudge
Taste brings layers of chocolate, chocolate ganache, cocoa, dark chocolate, a little fudge, more baking spices with a touch of anise, all spice, faint cardamom like thing as well, mild roasted malt but not really coffee, some cookie dough notes, mild bitterness from roast and a touch of earthy hop, drier finish, with a big chocolate flavor lingering
Mouth is med to a bit fuller bod, but does feel a tad thin, carb also on the lighter side, but no real alcohol
Overall not bad, decent stout, a bit thin for imperial stout, decent flavors, etc
