Chickens on the label. Not sure why. Or are they cocks. Not sure. Maybe you are supposed to drink this in the morning. Oh well, already opened it. After my last Polish beer called Piast, I hope this is an improvement.
Lots of gas when opening the bottle. Upon pouring, lots and lots and lots of head. Not typical Polish at all. Head is Belgian Duvel style. Similar colour also. All beers that resemble a Duvel upon pouring deserve a 5 for appearance.
West Coast IPA style aromas. Tropical fruitness but still bitter. Not too fruity. Really impressive aroma.
Taste is definitely bitter without any West Coast IPA fruitiness. Not that this is supposed to be a West Coast IPA, it just looks like one and had the aromas of one. Taste however is a little flat. Creeping through the bitterness is some grapefruit and not much else. From the appearance and aroma, I was expecting more and I am a little disappointed. Mouth feel has a lot of foaminess, but not a huge amount of body or aftertaste. Hops are fairly tasteless aside from the bitterness and grapefruit flavour.
Despite lots of early promise, this actually is nothing special. It looks amazing, it just isn't amazing. Maybe they should try different hops but with the same brewing style. Luckily I have another beer from them using cannabis in my fridge, I'm looking forward to it.
