16 ounce can packaged on 11/13/23 in Rutland, VT.
Brewed by Rutland Beer Works for Lucy & Howe Brewing Company.
Moderate to vigorous pour yields a nearly two inch mocha head over a black body with lacing.
Nose of bitter chocolate, roasted malt, and slight hops.
Taste is bitter chocolate chocolate, bitter hops, and roasted malt.
Nice mouthfeel with near medium carbonation.
Overall, a real bitter bomb, more from bitter chocolate than bitter hops. Not for the squeamish, but I rather enjoyed this as it's a change of pace from most beers n this style. Definitely at the bitter end of the spectrum!
Cheers!!
