Pours near dark brown with ruby edges, 1" tan head that settles out quickly to a thick ring; moderate lacing. Nose is slightly sour coffee, coffee syrup, coffee and cream, slightly metallic. Aroma very reminiscent of Narragansett's Autocrat - forward on coffee syrup/coffee milk. Taste is black coffee and sugar - sweet, slick, slightly bitter and slightly sour. Lacks a creamy edge to it, which is fine, but feel that that's not in the spirit of the advertised Vietnamese Coffee. Also lacking in more caramel, browned elements. Mouthfeel is moderately full with crisp carbonation. Overall, a little sweet for my tastes, but worth seeking out.

A very nice coffee stout with a bit of sweetness. Would recommend.
