look: 2 | smell: 3.25 | taste: 3.25 | feel: 2.75 | overall: 2.5
Appearance: Cloudy saddle brown, off white head, poor retention.

Aroma: Low malt & complexity - bready & grainy. Hops: very low hops: floral.

Flavor & Aftertaste: Bready, cracker like. Low on flavor. Sweet. No bitterness.

Mouth-feel: light bodied, thin. Light carbonation. Short semi-sweet finish.

Overall: Wow, I feel bad for this rating because I like some other beers from this brewery. This is a below average Marzen. Appearance sets an unfortunate tone. It is cloudy, muddy looking. Head retention was non existent. Low on flavor and aroma. Graininess is almost an off aroma. Thin, almost watery mouth feel. Lacks the expected malt complexity, with pronounced toasty notes. It does not taste bad, it is just not appealing.
