Pours an opaque ocher producing less than a half finger of rapidly diminishing, white head that leaves virtually no lace or collar ring. Presentation is poor. Aroma is VERY THIN Belgian yeast esters of banana, clove and stone fruit with a bready malt backbone. Taste is similar but slightly more robust, finishing dry, spicy and lightly bitter. The aftertaste is a ghost of what appeared in the sip and rapidly diminishes. Mouthfeel is low-medium bodied with low-moderate carbonation, slick and drawing with a little prickle. I'm disappointed with this one.
