This sweet stout is brewed with roasted, caramel and chocolate malts and the addition of milk sugar keeps this stout sweet and creamy.

Pours inky black with brown highlights to a low beige head. Aroma of caramel and toffee. Rich flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee, rich caramel, smoke and leather, some root beer notes. Notes of roast, not overly sweet. Interesting hop balance to the rich dark flavors. Even mouthfeel, light for the style, but a tasty and enjoyable beer nonetheless.

Picked up a can of this at the brewery and shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice dark brown, almost black with a one finger mocha head that faded quickly to leave light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Aromas of nice pleasant dark roast, coffee grounds, dark chocolate, dry lactose. Little bit of creaminess as well. As it warms up it gets quite roasty.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with big, bold roast notes, little bit of dark chocolate and acrid coffee. Flashes of caramel and lactose. The finish has lingering bitterness. As it warms it becomes even more chocolate forward.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little crisp. the body is super, super light though. Comes across as thin.
O - Overall this was a solid enough milk stout. Pleasant roast elements and lactose. The only real knock here is the mediocre mouthfeel that is just way too light for the style. Not rich and creamy enough.
