AUGUST 2024.
44 cl can (7€) packaged a week before tasting.
India Pale Ale, mainly produced in the summer, in which only New Zealand hops are selected year after year. The malts are of German origin (Pils, Vienna, Cara and the addition of a small percentage of wheat), while the yeast is of Anglo-Saxon origin.
As soon as the can is opened, fragrant summer and tropical aromas (petals, white peach, melon, pineapple) and a lighter note of citrus peel.
A beautiful golden color, practically transparent except for a light haze.
Fragrant foam and the right amount, albeit with little structure.
In the mouth, a beer that makes freshness its strong point: medium body, overflowing taste that ranges from pineapple to mango, from melon to papaya that invade the palate and end with a decisive citrus bitterness (grapefruit, cedar).
The bitter note arrives like a cleaver to break the extreme tropical fruitiness (from Ace juice - Orange Carrot Lemon) of the initial taste (not like in products strictly indicated as "modern") and has a clear peak that also leaves a pleasant bitter aftertaste (more citrus than herbaceous) on the tongue, while on the palate the tropical notes remain in the background.
A beer with a crisp and explosive taste, it transmits all its freshness.
Fruity, fragrant, bitter, all while maintaining a perfect balance.
