This New England Double IPA starts with a grain bill packed with oats that shines a hazy yellow. It was double dry hopped with a combination of Citra, Simcoe, and Amarillo for a unique complex flavor filled with mouthfuls of cantaloupe, grapefruit, and a hint of lemon. Meant to be drunk out in the Back 40 acres . . . or in a snow storm . . . just not by your neighbors fireplace when they’re not home.

Can from Vinyl Beer on the UES NYC. Pours a hazy light golden orange with a finger of fluffy white head, decent lacing, smell is musty grapefruit zest, candied orange peel, hints of papaya, cantaloupe, and cotton candy, taste is overripe cantaloupe, honeydew melon, papaya, and grapefruit juice, hints of vanilla cake and light caramel, mild zesty pith on the finish, feel is medium bodied and creamy. An excellent citrus and melon forward NEIPA. Yum.
