This drinks like a dessert, almost like a wine cooler. The black cherry comes through immediately. Super easy to drink with the alcohol percent so low.

16oz. can into a Brooklyn Brewery snifter.
Gorgeous color. Nose is dark cherry soda, cinnamon, cane sugar, and a slight tart cherry pit. Delicious. Very aromatic. Beery opens black cherry soda sweetness. Very little tartness up front that builds a touch in the middle. Hints of cherry skin and cane sugar with a bit of cherry syrup at the finish. A little sweet for me. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively on the palate and goes down crisp and refreshing with the slightest pucker at the end. Clean finish. Very drinkable.
Very solid and certainly embodies the name.
