Traded for this a few weeks back and finally got around to having it tonight. Love both brewers that were involved in making this and the end result of this collaboration between then was an easily enjoyable beer that didn't feel anything like a Triple or Imperial IPA!

This had a nice, tangerine hue to it as it was fairly bright when held up to the light. Not a lot of head topped it off although it settled evenly with a few bigger bubbles rising to the surface. Lots of tangerine, tropical fruit skin, tobacco, and light herbal hops in the nose as the taste was just as dank, earthy, and softly slick on the palate. Some fruit cocktail emerged as this warmed up as the body had a nice bready undertone to it and the carbonation was light enough to offset the swamp water and deep forest that stuck around in the aftertaste.

Only two hops were in this but somehow, they meshed well and with that hint of District 96's snake fruit tying them together, this felt like so much for containing so little. It was enough to hide the alcohol and *almost* had me feeling that this was just a regular American Pale Ale. Dated 4/1 on the bottom of the can with "SSSIIP THISSS" written above it, this held up well over the last two months as it didn't contain any sediment and easily left me wanting more. Loved this collaboration as it proved why these two guys are quickly becoming my favorite new breweries!
