Once again, Tin Barn has delivered with this New England IPA that was a joy to enjoy! Plenty slick, green, and flavorful, there were quite a bit of hops in this as they melded nicely together and led to a beer that was plenty ripe and turbid, with a nice mouthfeel and sticky finish that left me wanting more!
Milky and peachy in hue, there was a ton of head that topped this off as it took it's time to settle down. Not a lot of lacing was left behind as that was the only drawback to this beer. Lots of stone fruit, weed, cream, and sweetness in the nose as the exotic tropical sense continued in the taste with deep citrus rind and a ton of green that took hold of me and never quite let go. Nice mouthfeel to this as the stickiness was more on my lips than on my palate, as the earthiness gave this beer all the body it needed.
The carbonation was light and there seemed to be a bit of wheat in here too, which made this feel a bit cracked. Dated 12/23 with "UNWITTIN SIPPIN" written above it, this was a Double that didn't feel like one although I warmed up nicely before the last sip. The Simcoe and Comet were at the forefront here, although everything melded nicely together. Once again, Tin Barn's got a winner on it's hands with this pawn that stood out!
