Pretty darn lucky to get my hands on this as I had a friend that went up there again recently! I love Tin Barn's lineup and this was on par with their better beers as it was immensely easy to drink, given it's heft, as well as being balanced and tasty as this was the epitome of what this brewery's all about!
Quite a lovely, brassy hue to this as it had a nice radiance to it as it was softly hazy. A sufficient head topped it off as it settled unevenly and left behind a nice amount of spotty lacing down the side of my pint glass. Lots of turbid citrus in the nose along with some funky stone fruit, feet, and Cosmic Punch as the taste was plenty dank, outdoorsy, and contained just enough melon, mango, peach, and jack fruit to give this the depth that rounded out the flavor profile. Plenty soft and juicy, the funk and exotic undertone held my attention to the end as this never felt like a Triple or Imperial, as there were hints of weed and white chocolate in the aftertaste the easily left me wanting more.
Dated 2/3 on the bottom of the can with "PUNCH THIS" written above it, this aged beautifully since there wasn't any sediment in the liquid and it was green enough to feel just a bit aged. Sure, the label was beautiful but so was the liquid inside the can as this completely impressed me. Once again, Tin Barn has a winner that could easily win anyone over to them. This was perfect for these last cold nights of the season!
