Traded for this recently, as this beer was a collaboration with hazeboiz that packed quite a punch. That wasn't just in heft, but in taste and mouthfeel as this was easily on par with the best that I've been able to obtain from Tin Barn. So much flavor in this with just a hint of their famous snake fruit finish as the body was plenty plush and oh-so-easy to savor from start to finish!
Blonde, hazy, and uniform in hue, this was topped off with plenty of head as it softly settled down. Not a lot of lacing was left behind as there were some arched soapy hints of rings and an array of dots around much of the rest of my pint glass. Orange, peach, tangerine cream, and snake fruit were in the alluring nose as the taste was bright, bitter, and dank. Lots of lip-smacking going on here as this had strong hints of spelt and oats and a moderate carbonation that allowed for the dewy, wet grass and forest in the back to emerge once this fully warmed up. Varied and nuanced, there was a lot to like here but patience was required because of this beer's depth and heft.
Yes, this was strong and yes, this felt it but with lots of dank melon and snake fruit in the back, it was fitting for the final impression that this gave me. Canned on 4/1 with 'BEER IS FUN" written above it, this was an enjoyable offering that reminded me of why I love Tin Barn so much. Get your hands on this and soothe your taste buds, and whatever you wish from it's name. This would easily satisfy any of those!
