Collaboration with Equilibrium Brewery.
We got together with our friends @egbrewery to create this HAZY BEAST! Pete, Michelle and crew helped us design the ultimate Double New England IPA with tons of creamy oats. We then triple dry hopped this amazing concoction with massive amounts of Citra, Superdelic and Krush. The results? An aroma like a frshly opened hop bag with tasting notes of sweeet citrus fruit, passionfruit and stone fruits.

Pours a hazy golden orange with a fluffy white head that slowly dissipates to a thin ring with some lacing. Aroma of pineapple, citrus, and traces of pine. Taste is juicy and hop-forward with a balanced bitterness. Finishs smooth.

On draught at the brewery. Served in a 13 oz. snulip glass. It looks like dense, bright orange juice with a finger cap of creamy, eggshell-colored foam and thick swirls of lacing. Very attractive. The smell is fruity with notes of lemon, lime, grapefruit, strawberry, and rock candy. It has a fruit punch flavor including tart grapefruit and lime zest, with sweeter notes of strawberry, tangerine, peach, tropical fruits, and a sweet oat base. There is only mild hop bitterness and no burn. This ale is full-bodied and plush with mild carbonation. And it doesn't drink like 8.6 ABV. Overall, Beast Coast is a terrific fruity DIPA. The only slight disappointment is that its smell doesn't pop like the taste.
