A luscious New England IPA brewed with pilsner malt, wheat, and flaked oats, then hopped in the whirlpool with Nelson Sauvin. When this beer told us it was ready, we dry hopped with a heavy dose of El Dorado, Nectaron, and Nelson- giving you intense tropical aromas and flavors of melon, pineapple and tangerine.

Canned 1/9/24 (1 week ago)

Appearance: Pours a nearly completely hazy (10% clarity) medium orange color with a strong, but flimsy white head. SRM of 7-8. (4.00)

Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, tangerine, and pine. (3.75)

Flavor: Strong flavors of orange, tangerine, bubblegum and pineapple. Hints of rhesus pine with a clean finish. (4.00)

Feel: Lighter body, strong, carbonation, finishes, clean and dry. (4.00)

Compared to Drekker One Way Out 1/2024: Pours similar, milder head. Milder aromas. More tangerine, pine, resin. Less lemon citrus, tropical pineapple, kiwi. Dryer, cleaner and more bitter

Compared to Modist Liquid Mosaic Crystals 2/2024: Pours clearer, darker, similar aromas. More bubblegum and resinous pine. Less tropical honeydew melon. Overall fairly similar.

Compared to Drekker Goon Platoon 1/2024: Pours identical, similar aromas.
Overall: One week out, as fresh as it gets. Some pineapple, lemon, and bubblegum flavors. Even a bit of pine and resin. Not quite up to many NEIPA standards in terms of juiciness, but it still drinks pretty good for an IPA. (Rating: 3.94+)
