Kanpai or Cheers in Japanese is our take on a crisp and refreshing Japanese Rice Lager. Brewed with pilsner malt and large portion of rice, then hopped in the kettle with Pacific Jade and Wai-iti hops for a pleasant citrus bitterness and subtle aromas of peach and apricot!

16 oz can best by 8/24/25 into a pokal.
L: SRM 3 pours 99% clear light yellow with a thin white head, very steady carbo, no lacing.
S: A hint of Pilsner malts, a light bready note, distant white grape, light brine with warming.
T: Gently sweet malts, lemon/lime zest, lightly floral, distant peach, yeast, light lavender, white grape skin, distant brine. It has a lingering tang that gets dry and has a zesty finish.
F: Lightly crisp, wet, light-bodied mouthfeel with a fast center and a long dry finish.
O: Refresshing and quenching. Fairly zesty throughout. Quite dry and citrus zest notes are a driving force alongside Pilsner malts. It is very good in its style.
