After 5 years we finally made a Citra & Mosaic Hazy, to top it off we gave it a double dose of everyone's favorite Hazy hops! Brewed with flaked oats in the whirlpool and then hopped with Citra, then double dry hopped with Citra and Mosaic to produce intense aromas of grapefruit, tangerine and stone fruit and the heavy flavors of pineapple, vanilla and berries!

Picked up as a solo at the local Total Wine to fill out the pick-6. No real expectations, but it seemed interesting.
A - Pours out pretty, with a hazy, slightly pale orange body, a dense off-white head that forms up to a lumpy cap, with lots of lacing.
S - Harsh minerality, strong tropical funkiness, with pineapple, guava, and passionfruit, a bit of pith and citrus acidity.
T - Open is full of the tropical fruit, middle blooms with tangerine and grapefruit citrus over a very quiet oat aspect, with very little bitterness until the close, which brings just a hint of pith and acidity as it trails off.
M - Moderate weight, fuller for the oats, along with a clean, soft finish.
O - Glad I picked this one up, because it is a solid NEIPA and one I'd try again.
