This beer is gem clear and very pale, with straw characteristics (SRM 1). Lazy and random bubbles casually make their way upwards to a puffy, white, one-inch head. The head briefly holds before collapsing, leaving a webbing of white lace on a PBGC American Lager glass.

The aroma opens with crisp, sweet pear. This is very nice, and unexpectedly so, especially after a burst of wheat and straw. This is truly a wonderful Pilsner. Some fresh bread dough comes out with warmth against mild spiciness and a hint of licorice. Perceptible floral notes are quite obvious after first being noticed.

Wow! Seriously, this is a great beer. It is exceptionally refreshing, crisp, and clean. The bitter bite is well balanced by sweetness. Generally speaking, the flavor follows the nose closely. Pilsners are best when subtle, and the subtlety of this one is off the charts. The finish is mildly sweet, with crisp, bitter nibbles.

A medium to full body with satin texture accentuates the dryness. As noted previously, there is a theme of crispness. Alcohol adds a faint touch.

This is a beer that I hope to find each time I visit Fall Street Brewing. It is truly exquisite. Unfortunately, this beer makes me want to sing. It is high Alpine air and sunshine in a can.
