A: A coppery orange brown color, bright and clear. A small brownish head forms, Retention and lacing are moderate.
S: Flesh and leaf, a touch of herb in the hops, very light on the spicing. Hops and malts are well balanced to make for a solid beer regardless of the pumpkin while being very obviously pumpkin. Could use a little more strength, but nice.
T: The taste follows suit with a good balance, light spicing, gourd flesh and leaf / herb. It is a little light in the flavor as it continues. Goes for the drier flavors rather than sweetness, with gentle hops bitterness holding the finish.
F: Initial crispness is moderate, light to medium in body. The mouthfeel finishes dry as well, and not quite as crisp.
O: A solid pumpkin beer that focuses on pumpkin rather then pumpkin pie, overall on the dry side and approachable.
