Poured from a 16 oz can bought at the brewery. They didn't call
it an NEIPA, but it fits pretty well, if a little too strong for
the style guidelines. I marked this as seasonal because the
brewery is new and I don't know what their intentions are.
Appearance: Like orange juice, a little more toward yellow than
most orange juice. Nice one-finger head of dense foam,
long-lasting. Lots of lace on the glass as I drink it.
Smell: Strong citrus, a little resin and pine.
Taste: Again, strong citrus, fruity. The resin and pine stand out
more in the taste than the aroma. There is a kind of sulfuriness
common in strongly late-hopped beers. Sweet, low apparent
bitterness, but some. The strong hop flavor balances it, adding
an acidity and spiciness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied, creamy, with carbonation prickle.
Overall: Nicely made, good for those who like intense late hops.
