The biggest letters on the label are "BRUT ALE" and you have to read the fine print on the back panel to see it's "inspired by a traditional German Gose." But it's fizzy and very lime tasting. Actually a pleasant fruit flavor with moderate acidity for a sour style.
I wil admit this is as good of a Gose as I've ever tasted. It is plenty tart without being vinegary, not over salted, and quite sippable. Or maybe the idea is you chug the little can and take another big bite of whatever you're eating. From the 12 oz can purchased at the big box. Not dated.
