Pours an effervescent ebony with a pinky of cocoa colored head. Viscous, no head retention or lacing
S: Peanuts, maple, fades as it warms. Had a great nose up front
T: Roasty & dry, peanuts, coffee, milk chocolate up front. Dryness & peanuts as this warms, some cocoa, smokeyness & maple as this warms. Finishes dry with a smidge of coffee & maple candy
MF: Medium body, restrained carbonation; body thins out a bit once warm
Good flavor but needed more body, drinkable enough

I received a can from @jdell15 in a BIF. Can not dated but the beer was added to the BA database on 8/17/2020. Poured into a stout glass. An oily black pour with a frothy, light mocha-colored head that dissipated rapidly. The smell is aromatic and is just as expected with fresh-roasted peanuts and maple syrup, along with roasted malt and nutty char. I was concerned that the taste would be overly sweet but it isn't. The peanuts are highlighted but the maple syrup plays a supporting role. The overall taste is dryer with more bitterness than I expected - which is a real positive. There are notes of burnt nuts and char but the maple syrup provides a nice balance. The mouth feel is outstanding! It's thick and fairly chewy with lite-moderate carbonation and the 8.5% ABV doesn't distract. Overall, Peanut Butter Maple Thicc Boi sounds gimmicky but it isn't. It's a flavorful sipping Stout that would be ideal before an outdoor fire on a cool Autumn evening.

Pours a deep black color with a very quick, fizzy tan head and no lacing.
The smell is sweet with clear peanut butter and maple but not overwhelming.
The taste has a subtle blend of peanut butter and maple. There's a definite char underneath with a little bitterness. It's sweet but not cloying.
The mouthfeel is thick, low carbonation and slightly fizzy.
A very good beer. A nice sweetness and flavor without being over the top.
