Received from @jdell15 in a BIF. Poured into a seidel mug. It pours an almost clear, golden-straw color with a thin, bright white cap. It's quite effervescent. It has a robust aroma of grainy bread, nuts, and spice. The taste opens with a nice balance of sweet Bohemian Pilsner Malt and spice with notes of nutty bread. It's very lite and crisp with lively carbonation, and at only 4.9% ABV it's positively crushable. While I generally prefer a darker, more full-bodied Märzen, East Sixth's Festbier offers something for all the senses. It's highly flavorful and perfect for drinking during outdoor activities. I'm glad to have had the opportunity to enjoy this Märzen and commend it to anyone with access to East Sixth Brewing.
