As mentioned, Solace took over the spot vacated by Mad Fox - one of the original craft brewers in the area. The place has become a little more industrial, less brewpub / food-focused, and kid friendly (small arcade) from the original brewer.
Ignoring the desire to compare venues, the place is in a mixed-use development with a parking garage that has tight spots. The main area is fairly spacious with a long bar that can seat 30-40 people. High tops of 6-8 are off the bar, with regular tables on the other side (used to be booths). There’s also outside seating.
There are beer tanks here, though not sure if they are producing anything here. The dejection is fairly standard - a handful of IPAs, some lighter offerings (including a sour), and a seltzer. That said, almost all the offerings are lighter on the SRM scale.
The place has food and that might allow them to be classified as a restaurant, as they also have liquor. The food is standard bar fare, and decent enough in that sense. Service has been solid enough - nothing bad or exceptional.

The site of the previous Mad Fox Brewery. A spacious space indoors with a large bar and plenty of draft beers on tap. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. A good place to have a few good beers for happy hour!

Visited on a Thursday at about 6pm during the middle of my run (turnaround). During quarantine. Not many folks. Quiet.
V - A sports bar and game stop vibe. Should be great for the kids but it’s lost that Mad Fox bistro feel. 3.5
Q - No complaints other than the plastic cups during COVID quarantine. 4.0
Ser - Polite. Did not test their knowledge. 4.0
Sel - Only Solace beers but 15+ on tap, including Seltzer. Mainly PAs/IPAs, but a stout, some sours and a brown. Plus some cans and wine. 4.0
