Tap room pour, served chilled in a nonic glass.
Dark brown colored body, light tan colored head. Leaves behind horizontal lacing bands.
Aroma of roasted malts and chocolate.
Taste is sweet and has some char. Flavors of roasted malts with slight char and chocolate. Slight pine with its bitterness comes in late. Good mix of flavors in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel. The malts coat the mouth but the hop bitterness brings a clean and slightly dry finish. Good carbonation.
A little lacking for the pine hops but tasty enough.
