Copenhagen 19/6 2021. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Water color blotches in yellow and brown with a sketchy outline of coffee beans in white.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin but consistent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense with a sweet slightly sugary odor mingling with roasted coffee and earthy notes. Brown sugar, vanilla and toffee. Bitter coffee and roasted, dark malts.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, oily and a bit viscous texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingering. Finish is roasted and semi-dry.
A fine take on roasted coffee with more than a touch of sugar.

A 500ml can, with a best before date of 17th December 2021. Poured into a snifter glass.
Appearance: Dark brown in colour with a half finger tanned head that dissipated fairly quickly but left some nice lacing.
Aroma: Roasty, coffee, with milky/creamy notes.
Taste: Mildly sweet, milk coffee, roasty, coffee beans, espresso, light bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Creamy, velvet silky, smooth, full bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: Very coffee forward, but that’s great if you enjoy coffee. Creamy and silky smooth just made it so easy to drink.
