Appearance: dark, almost black. It's clear however. Almost no head.

Aroma: Well... It's... SWEET. Coconut its first and last think you'll notice with some malty accents midway. Some dark chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, mayby some coffee. Too much coco imho

Taste: Like aroma lets say. It's very sweet, but some might like that (not me for sure).

Mouthfeel: Alcohol warming is present and long-lasting (it's spicy...). As I said, it's very sweet and dense aswell.

Overall: For me it's to sweet and there's to much coconut. One of the previous speakers who reviewed this drink compared it to a Bounty bar, which was my first thought after opening the can (not to mention the moment when I decided to take a whiff of the aroma coming from it, which happened a moment later).

Copenhagen 4/10 2022. 33 cl can from Mikkeller web-shop. What looks like some kind of underwater Dragon on the black can.

Pours opaque dark brown with a small off-white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin, flimsy layer of foam unable of covering the surface of the beer and clinging to the sides of the glass. No lacing.

Aroma is intense with a strong almost overwhelming sugary, sweet odor mingling with an abundance of coconut. Brown sugar, toffee, bounty bar, lactose. The massive sweetness manages to hide the substantial ABV almost completely.

Light carbonation. Thick, oily, creamy, fat, soft, smooth, viscous texture.

Flavor is intense and heavy sweet followed by moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sugary with a undertone of dark alcohol. Lingering. Finish is pure bounty bar and Malibu.

Quite the coconut and alcohol bomb.

Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country, zero reviews below read (yet!)...
L- Similar to a glass of cola in colour, pours with brief foam can, soon a thin peripheral ring.
S- Oh lordy, mega coconut dominating. Some chocolate hidden behind.
T- Cocoa is dominant in the taste, milk chocolate, then coconut follows. It's quite rich and creamy tasting.
F- Quite rich, too much so to rush. The ABV% is just about apparent on the palate, but it needs to be to bring some distraction.
O- If you like beer that tastes like a Bounty (coconut) chocolate bar blended up with a couple of shots of vodka then here you go. Otherwise perhaps about as far from a beer-like beer as you might get.... It goes without saying that I'd not buy this again.
Review1976/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! Brewed with coconut and cocoa nibs. Contains barley, rye and oat.
330ml can BB: 24/09/2022 £6.99 Bought from TremblingMadness, York/UK as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London.
