A real classic of the genre - thoroughbred West Coast IPA. Dry, strongly bitter, hopped with a citrus and resin mix of varieties from the USA.

Copenhagen 29/1 2024. 50 cl can from Beershoppen webshop. Very colorful can featuring splotches of paint in red, blue, green and so forth.
Pours clear yellow with a mid-sized white head. A bit bubbly. Settles as 0,3 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet malty odor mingling with a citric scent and a dry vibe. Caramel and bread. Hints of peach. Grapefruit and citrus.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, lively and tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Decent take on an old fashioned West Coast IPA.
