Copenhagen 8/2 2024. 50 cl can from Beershoppen webshop. Very artistic can resembling a oil painting of a Troll fetus.
Pours opaque dark brown with mid-sized light beige head. Stable. Settles as thin layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, roasted odor of dark malts mingling with sharp citrus fruit. Sweet toffee with a touch of brown sugar. Grapefruit and pine.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger citric bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a notable sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
