Copenhagen 21/11 2020. 50 cl can from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of some weird skeletons squeezing fruit on the can.
Pours hazy, opaque yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin but frothy layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer and crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fairly strong sweet odor of malts and lemonade with exotic fruit. Lighter citric notes. Oranges, and mango. White sugar. Citrus and hints of grape fruit. Whiff of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dry.
Quite boozy despite a moderate ABV. But not without its own bitter charms.
