Copenhagen 4/2 2024. 50 cl can from Beershoppen web-shop. Blue and black can with geometric figures in gold.
Pours opaque hazy, golden yellow with a mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet odor of tropical fruit mingling with a citric and slightly boozy scent. Mango and passion fruit. Blood orange. Grapefruit and alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Finish is dry and a bit austere.
Not especially messy. But a fine NEIPA with a fermented and boozy touch.
