A New England IPA brewed in collaboration with Dalons Brewery from Réunion Island and WHC Lab, a yeast producer. We dry-hopped it with Riwaka, Motueka, Mosaic, and Nelson Sauvin, and fermented it with Yellow Flower yeast, isolated from Dalons Brewery.

500 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Sandnes Kvadrat. ABV is 6.4%. Hazy pale yellow colour, moderate to small white head. Moderate aroma of citrus, hints of tropical fruits and yellow flowers. Citric and floral flavour, quite nice. A moderate but noticeable bitterness in the finish.

Poured from 500mL can into a kitchen glass. Best by 12/1/25.
Appearance: medium yellow hue with a thick haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. Turbid and I like it!
Smell: sweet malt with notes of orange peel and maybe even a slightly tropical element in there. It’s quite nice.
Taste: bright, citrusy hop flavor atop a sweet malt base. It’s good, but it’s a bit one-dimensional, and the hops are maybe just a skosh on the sharp side.
Mouthfeel: good body with a good carbonation and a nicely smooth, rich creaminess.
Overall: a good hazy IPA, though there’s that sharpness in the hop flavor. I like the fact that it’s basically a single IPA, though — not all good hazies have to be imperial-strength, you know!
