Copenhagen 19/10 2022. 33 cl waxed bottle from Mikkeller web-shop. Dark label with whole lot of stacked barrels.
Pours murky, dark maroon with a very small off-white head. Bubbly. Settles as a thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.
Aroma is intense with a strong sweet almost sugary odor mingling with alcohol. Brown sugar, liqueur, coffee, toffee, vanilla and dark sweet alcohol.
Low carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, sticky, almost flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a heavy sweetness followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a bitter tang. Lingering. Finish is boozy and sugary.
The Coffee suits this heavy and sweet booze bomb quite well.
