From the growler via the brewery, this solid doppel pours a dark
murky brown with a nice head of off white foam that settles to a
thin ring, thin dusty layer, and sports some nice lacing. Nose of
dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, subtle dark breaded malts,
and touches of dark raisin with light herbal notes. Flavors hit the
note with dark chocolate touches, dark breaded malts, faint raisin,
hints of coffee, and touches of orchard fruit with herbal hop notes.
Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium prickly carbonation, and a
medium dry finish.
Overall----my newest WOW brewery
Cheers

At the brewery in a glass.
Deep amber color with very little head. There is some beautiful lacing as the glass empties.
Taste has some smooth bitterness with a hint of sweetness. Enjoyable!
