Pours a golden copper with a clear transparency. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is caramel, bread, toffee, and toasty malts. Grassy, herbal, and light spicy hops give it a little further depth and sharpness. Flavor profile is caramel, toffee, and soft molasses with bready, mild earthy malts underneath. Some spicy, sticky, herbal, and grassy hops show up towards the end, contrasting the malts well. Really great dynamics, with a soft initial sweetness that is supported by resolute, but not heavy, malts. Very refreshing, though a little alcohol sneaks into the finish. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a very light silty texture. Overall, a refreshing spring bock with great hop play. The unfortunate note is the ABV shows through a little as it warms.

Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 32oz crowler. Canned 3/5/22, consumed / reviewed 3/20/22.
