Cartridge Brewing

From the growler via Growler Stop in Newtown and enjoyed in a snifter. This
solid little Baltic with dark cherries pours a dark murky brown with a nice head of
off white verging on kahki foam that settles to a thick fat ring, thin dusty layer, and shows
some nice light lacing. Nose of dark chocolate, cherry, light coffee, and touches of deep
roast and char. Flavors surpass the nose with dark cherry, dark coffee, light char, dark brown
sugars, and light vinous notes. Nice mouth feel; medium body, light carbonation more towwards
the English side of the spectrum, and a roasty lightly sweet sweet finish that is lightly tart
from cherries. Nicely balanced.
