Bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with maple and spices. Ale aged 12 months in Buffalo Trace barrels.

Served in a snifter
This beer pours almost black with the ever so feintest ruby light coming through when I hold it up to the light. It is topped with an inch of tan head that disappears quickly leaving minimal lacing.
Some chocolate. Plenty of oak. Hints of booze. Some sweetness from the maple.
The taste follows the smell. Some chocolate. I get a little more maple in the flavor. The back end is dry and oaky. Hints of booze as it reaches room temperature.
Kinda thin body for an imperial stout with a dry mouthfeel
Not a bad stout. It just seemed thin to me is my biggest gripe.
