Appearance - The beer poured an oily black color with a modest mocha head crowning the glass.
Smell - Sweet rich coffee dominated the nose. Sweet adjuncts were apparent.
Taste - The overall profile was super sweet, but not cloying. There was tons of vanilla and coconut. The use of lactose was readily apparent. The rich coffee was overshadowed until the finish.
Mouthfeel - The body was medium thick with little carbonation.
Overall - This was an impressive beer for a newish brewery.
