Appearance - The beer poured a deep golden color with white bubbles crowning the glass.
Smell - I knew it was largely bitter, I didn’t detect vanilla.
Taste - For all of the sweet adjuncts, the beer was quite bitter. It had coffee bitterness which let the way. I could not detect vanilla. The beer finished bitterly.
Mouthfeel - The apparent use of lactose in low carbonation made the beer seem smooth.
Overall - Not at all desert stouts are winners.
