Copenhagen 9/10 2022. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, Hovedbanegården, Kbh. K. Painting of a throrougly gnawed apple on the label.
Pours dirty amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin but unbroken layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet fruity odor marred by decay mingling with sugary notes. Oxidized, sweet apples, pale malts and bread.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, greasy, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet. Lingers for a while. Finish is bruised sweet fruit.
It does delivers what it promises: Ruined and oxidized fruits.
