Copenhagen 28/9 2022. 50 cl bottle from SuperBrugsen, HovedbanegÄrden, Kbh. K. Red label with a close up of an eye peeking through a Danish flag. They go all in here before the World Cup.
Pours opaque, murky amber with a neat mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles several cm thick layer of foam completely covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet fruity and malty odor mingling with sharp grainy and citric scent. Ripe mango, cardboard and bread. Sour grains and citrus.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily and bit greasy texture. Lightly tingling.
Flavor is medium intense with a rather strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with sweet undertone. Lingers for a bit. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the malty side but with a light redeeming bitterness.
