Copenhagen 15/11 2020. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Silhouette of wind surfer flying through the air with wind mills and and a orange sky in the background.
Pours unclear amber with a mid-sized white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer.Crawling up the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor and a frail citric odor. Caramel, cardboard, bread. Butter. Moldy gym bag. Light fumes of citrus rummaging in the background.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a strong sweetness followed by a quite moderate harsh bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and harsh. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
A bit on the harsh side and with a quite strong malty presence for the style. Could do without the butter.
