Lyngvig Lighthouse is the last lighthouse built along the west coast of Jutland. The lighthouse was built in 1906 and was first lit on November 3. A tragic accident at sea in 1903, where 24 sailors lost their lives, was the decisive factor in starting construction. The light from the lighthouse can be seen very far away – in clear weather up to 50 km.
The lighthouse has no function for sailors today, but is a well-known landmark for the entire area.

Copenhagen 4/8 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F, a Lighthouse on the label seen from the top with the Winding stairs.
Pours unclear, golden yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing to speak of.
Aroma is medium intense, sweet and quite malty. Sweet malts, wet cardboard, slightly chemical odor of sweet oranges and lemonade.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is rather sweet. Followed by a very moderate sour bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and fades fairly fast. Lingers shortly.
A tad too sweet and unbalanced and with a strange chemical tang.
