At the request of Denmark's oldest boy band Tørfisk, we have created this elegant thirst quencher of a golden pilsner, following the absolutely correct bottom fermentation method.
Tørfisk is West Jutland tapas at its best. This West Jutland delicacy that hangs on clotheslines along the West Coast is salted and dried flatfish (icing).
The dry, salty taste requires liquid! Best washed down with an ice-cold Tørfisk/Dabs Pilsner.

Copenhagen 3/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Rotunden, Hellerup. Photo of Dabs, the “Tapas from the West coast of Denmark” consisting of salty, dried fish on the label.
Pours unclear yellow with a small white head. Settles as thin patch of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweetish, salty and of pale malts. Sweet pale malts, bread, grains and caramel. Light hints of fresh grass. Salty notes.
Light carbonation. Thin, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish. Lingers shortly.
Decent - but could use a bitter Kick. But then again if I am supposed to eat an extremely salty, dried fish while I am drinking this, I am probably doing this the wrong way.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
