Copenhagen 1/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Drawing of bird with some sort of twig in it’s Beak on the label. It seems that Hvide Sande Brewery will never cease to produce tribute beers to Liverpool FC. This time to Jan Mølby. Even includes a autograph from him.
Pours murky amber with small white head. Bubbly. Settles as thin, meagre remnants of foam drifting around. No Lacing.
Aroma is medium intense and sweetish. Caramel, cooked vegetables, butter and very light roast.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, kind of flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a quite light bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish and fairly short.
I actually like Liverpool and was impressed with their efforts this season. But this beer is a bit sloppy and flat.
