Copenhagen 27/5 2019. 50 cl bottle from Vinbørsen, Nordre Frihavnsgade, Kbh Ø. Brownish label with a bird grabbing some sort of leaf on the label. Seems to be some kind of Liverpool fan beer.
Pours Murky light brown with a small white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is sweet malty, lightly fruity and with hints of butter. Caramel, toffee, corn. Hints of stuffy refrigerator. Light citric notes of lemon and citrus.
Low carbonation. Soft, medium thick, oily almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a somewhat stronger rough bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Semi-dry finish.
Does not remind me of a IPA. A bit too herbal and flat for my taste buds.
