Appearance: A hazy light yellow body is crowned by a massive and coarse white head, with very good retention. Fat bubbles cling to the glass wall. Occasional large bubbles race to the surface. Belgian-like lacing decorates the glass wall.
Aroma: Lime rind, with a faint hint of vinegar dominates the aroma, like a limeade without sugar.
Taste: The taste opens with a moderately sour lime rind note and a little mild vinegar. As the taste progresses, the lime and vinegar vie for dominance. Note that the vinegar offers just a hint of sourness, it does not overpower. The finish offers a wave of slightly salty lime rind.
Mouth feel: Smooth and soft, very pleasant.
Drinkability/notes: An interesting example of an uncommon style. Beer number three in the Aldi 2021 Advent Beer Calendar.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass longneck bottle with a pry-off, served in a La Fin du Monde tulip.

Picked up at Aldis. Popping the top I get lime and malt. Pours to a cloudy bright yellow with a bright white head. Taste is sour and limeade like. Very tart with a sweeter middle and clingy aftertaste. A great thirst quencher. I’m in!!!!
