Session IPA has a thick, off-white head and a hazy, translucent, bubbly, orange-gold appearance, with heavy lacing. The aroma is of pungent cereal grains and hop resins. The flavor is of fairly sweet bread crust, low bitterness, and brassy hops. Session IPA has a medium body and a dry finish.

Appearance: Cloudy golden orange in color, with a moderate, dense and somewhat coarse white head. Fat bubbles drift lazily to the surface, while others cling to the glass wall beneath the surface. The lacing is thick, finely-beaded and glass-coating.
Aroma: The aroma offers moderate notes of pine, grapefruit and orange rind, and pale malt.
Taste: Upon tasting, moderate pine hops present, as well as abundant pale malt, offering a pleasant white bread flavor. As the taste progresses, the hops rise a bit, offering a note of pine and grapefruit rind, although this is well-balanced against the pale malt. Finishes with a lingering, but mild pine and grapefruit bitterness.
Mouth feel: Soft, full, smooth and pleasant, with zesty carbonation.
Drinkability/notes: A very drinkable example, a very well-crafted and quaffable session beer.
Presentation: Packaged in a standard twelve-ounce brown glass longneck bottle with a pry-off crown, served in a La Fin du Monde chalice. Beer number six in the 2022 Aldi Beer Advent Calendar, where it is packaged in a standard twelve-ounce aluminum can,

Poured from a can. Golden in color with a good sized foamy head and lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, malt and hops. Taste follows the smell, slight bitter empty ending.

From the can in the 2022 and 2023 Aldi Bier Advent Calendar, it pours a hazy amber color with a modest white head, soon diminishing to a thin layer and leaves lacing. The nose gets some pineapple and citrus. The mouth, a light piney malt flavor.

Session IPA pours a cloudy dark amber, with a fizzy head. Aroma is mild, but piney. Flavor is clean and crisp, cereal notes, with good hints of pine. Good body and feel.
